Mit einer Sperranlage entlang der 175 Kilometer langen Grenze will Ungarn den Ansturm von Flüchtlingen aus Serbien stoppen. Schon in den vergangenen Tagen hat sich jedoch gezeigt, dass der Zaun viele Flüchtlinge nicht von der Einreise in die EU abhält. Allein am Samstag seien wieder 2.700 Flüchtlinge über die Grenze gekommen, teilte die ungarische Polizei mit. Die Bilderstrecke zeigt die drei Tage lange Flucht einer Gruppe von Migranten von Serbien nach Ungarn.

La polizia del Surrey li ha arrestati con l’accusa di „ingresso illegale“ nel Regno Unito. Gli uomini, tutti tra i 15 e 45 anni, erano disidratati. L’autista è un 50enne di nazionalità italiana: arrestato per favoreggiamento
Un camion con targa italiana è stato fermato in Inghilterra: a bordo, nascoste nel cassone frigorifero, c’erano 27 migranti. A scoprire le presenza delle persone nascoste nel camion frigorifero, e disidratate, è stata la polizia del Surrey, Inghilterra meridionale, che li ha arrestati con l’accusa di “ingresso illegale” nel Regno Unito, come riferito da Sky News. Il camion era fermo nella stazione di servizio di Cobham, nella contea del Surrey. L’autista, sarebbe “un 50enne di nazionalità italiana”, come ha riferito senza fornire le generalità all’Ansa una fonte dell’Home office, il ministero dell’Interno britannico. L’uomo è stato arrestato: è accusato di “favoreggiamento” dell’immigrazione clandestina.

Residents of one of Libya’s most notorious people-smuggling hubs have staged an anti-smuggling protest after the discovery of up to 200 corpses in waters close to the town.
The bodies were found on Thursday by one of Libya’s few coastguard vessels about a kilometre from Zuwara, the western port that is a major departure point for refugees hoping to reach Italy.
The incident is the latest tragedy of the European migration crisis, and if the death toll is confirmed it would mean that more than 2,500 people have drowned in the Mediterranean so far in 2015 – a record figure for this stage in the year.

As dawn breaks, ghost-like figures with sunken heads laden with babies, bundles of food and clothing can be seen trudging slowly along the autobahn. Alongside the usual tips on tailbacks and delays, traffic bulletins on the local radio alert drivers to “pedestrians who have been spotted on the A3 between the Austrian border and south Passau”.
The scenario is not a one-off, but has become a familiar sight for the residents of the southern German town of Passau, as people traffickers drop off a daily average of 700 refugees – mostly Syrians, Afghans and Iraqis. As soon as the smugglers’ vehicles have crossed the border between Austria and Germany, they abandon the refugees in woods, fields, secluded farms, and even on the hard shoulder of the motorway.

Le decine di migranti morti nel cuore dell’Europa, al confine tra Austria e Ungheria, sembrano aver segnato un punto di rottura nel dibattito europeo – ed internazionale – sull’immigrazione. Dopo mesi di stragi che hanno suscitato indignazione e poco più, qualcosa di più concreto appare muoversi. Per ora nulla di più di prese di posizione politiche. Dalla Casa Bianca a Ban Ki Moon, dal New York Times all’Unhcr. Ma per la prima volta, nell’insieme, sembra allargarsi la presa d’atto che quello di migranti e profughi è un problema che non si può più ignorare. Il primo atto di quella che potrebbe essere una nuova fase è un vertice europeo, da tenersi già la prossima settimana.

Über das deutsche Dispositiv und die Symbolpolitik in der Flüchtlingsdebatte
Angesichts der toten Flüchtlinge in einem Transporter in Österreich macht eine Berliner Boulevardzeitung mit der Schlagzeile „Weine Europa“ auf und ruft zum Handeln auf. Die Losung am Schluss zeigt die Stoßrichtung: „Schlepper bekämpfen“, heißt sie und somit wird nur aktualisiert, was der Mainstream in Politik und Medien seit Jahren predigt.
Nicht die gesetzlichen Regelungen, die Flüchtlinge zwingen, die Dienste der Schlepper in Anspruch zu nehmen, empört die Mehrheit, die nichts mit Pegida zu tun haben will. Für Aufregung sorgt, dass durch die Schlepper das durch die unvernünftige Wirtschaftsordnung hervorgehobene Elend der Welt ins Zentrum der EU gebracht wird.

Sono alcuni degli oggetti portati dai migranti per affrontare il loro viaggio nel Mediterraneo e lasciati sulle imbarcazioni di fortuna con cui hanno raggiunto, negli anni passati, le coste di Lampedusa. Ricordi e simboli della migrazione di oggi che l’associazione Askavusa ha iniziato a raccogliere nel 2009 per creare un „Luogo di Memoria“, il PortoM. „M come migrazione, memoria, mare, Mediterraneo, museo – racconta Giacomo Sferlazzo, artista tra i curatori dello spazio espositivo e che ha realizzato delle opere d’arte con alcuni oggetti ritrovati sui barconi. „Per recuperare queste importanti testimonianze siamo andati nelle discariche, dove le imbarcazioni attendevano di essere distrutte con tutto quello che contenevano“. Adesso, dopo anni di attesa, PortoM ha finalmente un luogo definitivo in cui mostrare ai visitatori i più di 700 pezzi di storie raccolti. All’interno di una grotta, in quello che fu il ricovero di pescatori dell’isola, sono custodite scarpe, cassette musicali, fotografie, lettere, diari e pagine di giornali. „Ma alcuni lavori sono ancora da ultimare – continua Sferlazzo – dalla manutenzione della struttura alla scaffalatura della biblioteca multilingue e dedicata alle migrazioni e al colonialismo. Per questo abbiamo lanciato una campagna di crowdfunding (www. askavusa. com/support). Abbiamo rinunciato ai finanziamenti delle istituzioni e andiamo avanti solo con il sostegno dei cittadini e di altre associazioni. Con i soldi delle donazioni potremo completare la raccolta di libri e la creazione di pannelli informativi sulla storia della migrazione dei popoli“. PortoM è aperto tutte le mattine e i suoi oggetti continuano a migrare, raggiungendo diverse capitali europee per mostre temporanee (di Grazia La Paglia)
