« Derrière la vague » de Fathi Saidi : l’immigration clandestine en contre-champ. 08 Apr 2017

“Derrière la vague” sonde les conditions qui pousse ces jeunes dans les embarcations de fortune et expose les répercussions dramatiques pour leurs familles. Entre calvaires et mobilisations pour réclamer aux autorités tunisiennes et italiennes des explications quant au sort de leurs enfants, le point de vue de ces familles permet à Fathi Saidi de déplacer le problème de l’immigration clandestine du champ au contre-champ. Le film sera projeté ce dimanche 9 avril 2017 à 17h, au 4ème Art (Tunis), dans le cadre de la 11ème édition de Doc à Tunis.

Avec des fortunes diverses, les documentaires consacrés à l’immigration clandestine font souvent retomber la vague qui les porte. Bien qu’il sépare ce drame du bruit qu’il fait, Derrière la vague ne réussit qu’à moitié. Ce film de Fathi Saidi documente la tragédie des jeunes tunisiens portés disparus, dont les faits remontent aux premières tentatives de traversée clandestine vers Lampedusa, juste après la révolution en 2011. Au grand dam de leurs familles, on ne sait toujours pas si ces jeunes ont péri noyés sur les rives européennes ou s’ils sont détenus en prison, enrôlés dans la mafia ou tués. Si elles tapissent le hors-champ de Derrière la vague, leurs disparitions fonctionnent ici comme le négatif qui s’y projette et s’y absente tout à la fois.

Libyan air and naval forces form joint operations room to fight fuel smuggling

The fuel and gas crisis committee has announced that air and naval forces had formed an operations room to end the crisis of fuel smuggling from Libya. „All targets are now in sight and the new joint operations room will take the needed action against them once needed.“ The committee said on its Facebook page.

It also stressed that the operations room is getting ready to end this phenomenon on the Libyan coast once and for all.

„Because such an action is related to military operations, the fuel and gas committee has decided to suspend its work and leave it in the hands of this new room.“ The statement on Facebook added.

Almeno 13 morti al largo della Libia. Arrivi in aumento del 23,8% sul 2016

Superlavoro in mare, nei giorni di Pasqua, per chi recupera migranti sui gommoni. Secondo dati del ministero dell’Interno, sono stati salvati e portati in Italia in 8500 (2.000 venerdì, 4.500 sabato, 2.000 domenica). Recuperate anche 13 salme dal naufragio di due gommoni al largo della Libia. E chissà quanti sono quelli scomparsi tra le onde. Sono quindi da aggiornare le statistiche: gli ultimi dati del Viminale, alla data del 12 aprile, dicono che sono 26.989 i migranti sbarcati, con un incremento del 23,80% rispetto al 2016.

Complice un mare particolarmente piatto, per tre giorni gli scafisti libici hanno fatto mettere in acqua ogni tipo di natante. E le flotte che sono al lavoro nel Mediterraneo sono state impegnate allo spasimo.

L’agenzia europea Frontex ha recuperato 1400 persone in tredici distinte operazioni di salvataggio. I suoi vascelli sono quelli dell’operazione europea Triton: 600 li hanno sbarcati sabato, altri 816 li trasporta la barca norvegese Siem Pilot, attesa oggi a Cagliari.

Emdadul Haque schien einem verbrecherischen Textilfabrikanten ausgeliefert. Trotzdem erstattete er Anzeige. Und die Justiz half.

NEAPEL taz | Sichtbar werden unsichtbare Menschen nicht über Nacht. Bei Emdadul Haque, 26, Näher aus Bangladesh, hat es drei Jahre gedauert. Drei Jahre, in denen er, der rechtlose Arbeiter aus Bangladesch, in Italien sein Recht erkämpfte. Und der damit erreichte, dass sein ehemaliger Chef, der 42-jährige Mohammed Alim, „wegen Menschenhandel und Ausbeutung von Arbeitskraft in Verbindung mit Sklaverei“ vor Gericht kommt.

Drei Jahre sind eine lange Zeit, vor allem, wenn sie aus Demütigung, Erniedrigung und Ausbeutung bestehen. Eine Spur dieser Zeit zieht sich als Narbe über Haques Wange. Nicht nur seelische Qualen hat er erlitten, er wurde auch körperlich misshandelt, weil er Fieber hatte und nicht schnell genug arbeitete.
