The Libyan National Army (LNA) has bombed a tanker it says was attempting to make a delivery of petrol to Ansar Al-Sharia .Spokesman for the LNA Chief of Staff Mohamed Hejazi confirmed that the LNA had carried out the attack on the vessel on Tuesday. He told the Libya Herald that the tanker had been attempting to make a delivery of petrol to Ansar Al-Sharia and associated forces.

Brief Summary of the Case: The Alarm Phone shift team received a direct call from a refugee vessel in the Central Mediterranean Sea seeking to reach Italy. The refugees were asking to be rescued by Italian coastguards and the shift team reached out to the MRCC Rome. The officer in charge suggested that Libyan authorities should conduct a rescue operation. In several phone calls with the refugees, more information was obtained and then passed on to the Italian coastguards. Responding to their unwillingness to cooperate with the shift team, the Alarm Phone alerted its members and other networks to prompt the Italian coastguards to conduct rescue procedures. The Italian authorities later confirmed that an operation had been underway since the afternoon of that day.
200 Flüchtlinge in zwei Schlauchbooten 20 Seemeilen vor der libyschen Hauptstadt Tripolis haben von einem Satellitentelefon aus die italienische SOS-Seenothilfe angerufen. Diese hat zur Rettung dieser Flüchtlinge den Öltanker Sea Nostrum aufgefordert, der sich in der Nähe befand. Derzeit ist die Küstenwache mit dem Schiff Peluso-CP 905 eingetroffen und übernimmt die Flüchtlinge.
Heute nachmittag wurden 51 Boat-people „nordafrikanischer Herkunft“ auf einem Fischerboot 40 Seemeilen südlich von Sizilien ebenfalls von der italienischen Küstenwache aufgebracht. Die erste Unterstützung leistete dabei ein Frachter, der die Flüchtlinge an Bord nahm. Um 19 Uhr sollen diese Flüchtlinge in Porto Empedocle eintreffen.
„[…] Entlang der mehr als 800 Kilometer langen Grenze zum Irak sollen laut „Airbus Defence and Space“, einem Geschäftsbereich der „Airbus Group“, diverse Schutzbefestigungen in der Wüste entstehen – darunter ein Sandwall und drei Zäune hintereinander. Sieben Kontroll- und Kommandozentren, 40 Wach- und 38 Kommunikationstürme sollen für die Sicherheit an der Grenze sorgen. Die Wachtürme sind demnach mit Radargeräten und Nachtkameras ausgestattet.

El ministro delegado de Interior, Charki Drais, el número dos del departamento, aprovechó una cita bilateral de representantes de los parlamentos de los dos países esta mañana en Rabat para subrayar que, durante 2014, su Gobierno había frustrado un total de 80 saltos masivos en las vallas de Ceuta y Melilla y había practicado un total de 37.000 detenciones de inmigrantes sin papeles, de las cuales estimó que unas 20.000 se habían realizado justo en el instante en el que los irregulares intentaron traspasar las alambradas de concertinas sin éxito.

Tandis que les éléments du groupement territorial des garde-côtes de Mostaganem poursuivent toujours les opérations de recherche des 5 ‘’harraga’’ portés disparus en haute mer, depuis la nuit de lundi dernier, après que la barque de fortune qui les transportait s’est renversée à deux miles marins de la plage de Hadjadj (Mostaganem), 22 autres ‘’harraga’’ ont été interceptés dans la nuit du vendredi à samedi au large de la même localité de ‘’Hadjadj’’.
Les échauffourées entre manifestants et force de l’ordre se sont soldées par 10 blessés, dont trois dans un état grave, 25 interpellations et la mise à sac du siège de la daïra et du logement de fonction attenant, ainsi que la destruction du mobilier et des documents et autre équipement informatique.
