In the morning of the 6. April 2016, the NGO Association pour tout.e.s les migrant.e.s/Alarmphone (ATM/AP) was called by a person living at the Moroccan-Algerian border close to Oujda. He found several persons who just crossed the border to Morocco.
Hassane Amari of ATM/A then found four persons close to the border, one of them seriously hurt, all robbed of their valuables (money, cellphones, shoes). They spend all night marching and running in the rain to get to the border.
That night a group of 11 persons tried to cross the border in the vicinity of Oujda. The Algerian military fired warning shots to stop them thus dispersing the group. Only four made their way to the border, with them one minor of 17 years. The rest of the group retreated to Algeria.
The group that finally arrived in Morocco were stopped and robbed by members of the Algerian military before there were able to get to Moroccan soil, money, cell phones, shoes and even jackets were stolen.
Hassane Amari took care of the basic needs of the four migrants, offering shelter and clothes.
The group was then informed about the Alarmphone and oriented to UNHCR and Doctors of the World.
They were saying that ultimately they want to go to Nador. The four migrants came from the Algerian City Maghnia, were migrants live in irregular camps close to agricultural production areas and are confronted with grave racism on a daily basis.

La frontière Algérie/Maroc au niveau de Oujda
Le 6 Avril 2016 matin L’Association international pour tout.e.s les migrant.e.s / Alarmphone (ATM/AP) était informer par une personne qui habite a coté de la frontière Algérie/Maroc au niveau de Oujda. Il trouvait plusieurs personnes qui ont franchit la frontière venant d’Algérie. Hassane Ammari de l’Association international pour tout.e.s les migrant.e.s / Alarmphone trouvait les quatre près de la frontière, un parmi eux gravement blesses, démunie de leurs chaussures, téléphone et de l’argent. Ils passaient tout la nuit en marchant et courant sous la pluie.
La nuit avant une groupe de 11 Personnes essayait de franchir la frontière pour arriver à Oujda. Le militaire algérien tirait des coups de semonce et ainsi le group dispersait. Seulement les quatre ont réussit à franchir la frontière en courant. Entre eux un mineur de 17 ans. Les autres personnes était capable de retourner en Algérie.
Pendant la traversée de la frontière les quatre personnes étaient intercepté par le militaire algériens, et les soldats algériens volaient toutes les biens et besoins; l’argent, les portables, les chaussures et quelques vêtements.
Hassane Ammari se chargeait de la groupe concernant leurs besoins élémentaires, il a accueillait la groupe et leur trouvait des vêtements.
En addition on les a sensibilisés concernant le numéro de téléphone d’alarme.
Comme ils le souhaitaient, ils étaient en plus orientés vers le HCR pour demander d’asile et vers médecin du monde. Ils ont l’objectif de continuer vers Nador.
Les quatre personnes viennent de Maghnia en Algérie, où les migrants habitent dans des campements à côté des champs agriculturales et sont confronté par un racisme grave et une discrimination immense.
