Berlin (dpa) – Statt der bislang kalkulierten 1,1 Millionen sind im vergangenen Jahr tatsächlich rund 890 000 Asylsuchende nach Deutschland gekommen. Das gab Bundesinnenminister Thomas de Maizière in Berlin bekannt.

Der CDU-Politiker hatte in den vergangenen Monaten wiederholt betont, die bisher bekannten Zahlen seien wegen Mehrfachregistrierungen und unerfasster Weiterreisen oder Rückreisen zu hoch gegriffen. In diesem Jahr kamen seinen Angaben zufolge bislang rund 210 000 Schutzsuchende ins Land. Auch diese Zahl war bislang höher veranschlagt worden.

Bei ihrer Ankunft in Deutschland werden Schutzsuchende im sogenannten EASY-System erfasst – einem IT-System zur „Erstverteilung von Asylbegehrenden“. 2015 wurden in diesem EASY-System bundesweit rund 1,1 Millionen Menschen als asylsuchend registriert.

Herbst 2015: Menschenmassen laufen über ungarische Autobahnen, springen auf Züge. Am Bahnhof in Budapest campieren Hunderte Flüchtlinge – in der Hoffnung, nach Deutschland weiterzukommen.

Menschen bahnten sich damals über die sogenannte Balkanroute ihren Weg in den Norden Europas. Ein Jahr später scheint dieser Weg endgültig versperrt. Aber wie ist die Situation entlang der Route? Die „ZDF.reportage“ hat sich auf den Weg gemacht. Am 5. September 2015 verkündet der damalige österreichische Bundeskanzler Werner Faymann, aufgrund „der heutigen Notlage an der ungarischen Grenze“ dürften die Flüchtlinge nach Österreich und Deutschland weiterreisen. Deutschland erlebt daraufhin eine der größten Zuwanderungswellen der Nachkriegszeit. Allein im Oktober 2015 registrieren die deutschen Behörden mehr als 160 000 Asylsuchende.

Tens of thousands of Afghans could be deported back to the collapsing state from Europe in exchange for university places for the country’s elite, according to secret EU plans seen by British civil liberties group Statewatch.

The leaked document was produced by the European Commission and the External Action Service, its foreign affairs branch. It is marked ‘EU Restricted’ and was given to ambassadors on March 3.

The document, reportedly seen by the Telegraph, appears to suggest efforts are being made to force the troubled Afghan government to accept thousands of deportees or lose out on millions of pounds in aid which makes up 40 percent of the Central Asian state’s gross domestic product (GDP).

Polizei setzt Tränengas ein

Vor dem als „Dschungel von Calais“ bekannten Flüchtlingslager haben Migranten und Hunderte Aktivisten protestiert. Steine flogen, die französische Polizei setzte Tränengas ein. Präsident Hollande will das Lager bis Jahresende schließen.

Bei einer ungenehmigten Demonstration vor dem als „Dschungel“ bekannten Flüchtlingslager in Calais hat es Zusammenstöße gegeben. Die französische Polizei ging mit Tränengas und Wasserwerfern gegen etwa 50 Demonstranten und 200 Flüchtlinge vor, die ihrerseits mit Steinen warfen. Die Protestteilnehmer erklärten, sie zeigten Solidarität mit den Migranten.

Die Sicherheitskräfte hatten etwa 150 weitere Demonstranten an einer Straßensperre fast 50 Kilometer vor dem Lager an der Weiterreise gehindert. Für den Protest kamen Hunderte Menschen per Bus aus anderen Städten. In dem Camp leben bis zu 10.000 Migranten unter schwierigen Bedingungen.

Lager bis Jahresende schließen

Der französische Präsident François Hollande hatte angekündigt, das Lager in Calais bis Jahresende zu schließen und Tausende Migranten innerhalb Frankreichs umzusiedeln, während ihre Asylanträge bearbeitet werden. Immer wieder versuchen Migranten in Calais, auf Lastwagen in Richtung Großbritannien zu gelangen. Anwohner und Lkw-Fahrer hatten sich zunehmend verzweifelt und wütend über die Situation vor Ort gezeigt.

Mohammed VI et la chancelière allemande Angela Merkel se sont entretenus par téléphone mercredi pour accélérer le retour des ressortissants marocains arrivés clandestinement en Allemagne. Le ministre de l’Intérieur se rendra prochainement à Berlin pour finaliser les termes de cet accord.

Après s’être téléphonés mercredi, Mohammed VI et Angela Merkel passent la vitesse supérieure. Cette longue conversation entre les deux chefs d’État, qui portait principalement sur le rapatriement des immigrés clandestins marocains présents en Allemagne, a débouché sur une décision claire de la part de Rabat. Le royaume s’est engagé à accélérer le retour de ses ressortissants venus illégalement sur le territoire allemand.

LAMPEDUSA – Le loro vite nuove costruite in tre anni d’Europa le hanno riportate come testimonianza a Lampedusa. Dove tutto poteva finire, e invece tutto è iniziato. In 25 dei 155 sopravvissuti al naufragio del 3 ottobre 2013, in cui affogarono 368 eritrei salpati dalla Libia, sono tornati sull’isola per il terzo anniversario della strage. Il primo dopo l’approvazione della legge che ha dichiarato quella data Giornata della Memoria e dell’Accoglienza. La diaspora dei migranti li ha sparpagliati in tutto il Nord Europa. Uno solo è rimasto in Italia, con la Comunità di Sant’Egidio.

Chi è tornato racconta a Repubblica un pezzo di sé. Qualcuno, si intuisce, omettendo le reali difficoltà dell’integrazione. „L’Europa inizia a Lampedusa, questo è il messaggio“, dice Tarek Brhane, presidente del Comitato 3 Ottobre che ha organizzato la tre giorni di celebrazioni. „Dal 2013 sono morte in mare altre 11.400 persone. Siamo stufi di contare i cadaveri“.

Three parliamentary committees approved in an ‎urgent meeting on Tuesday night legislation ‎aimed at stemming the tide of illegal migration.

‎The meeting, which comes a few days after a ‎migrant boat capsized off Egypt’s Mediterranean ‎coast, was headed by chairman of the Legislative ‎and Constitutional Affairs Committee Bahaaeddin ‎Abu Shoqa. It also included members of the ‎human rights and budget committees.‎

The meeting also came after President ‎Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi held an urgent national ‎security meeting on Saturday to discuss the ‎possibility of issuing a unified law aimed at ‎toughening penalties for those involved in human trafficking and illegal migration operations.‎

On 21 September, the migrant boat, which was ‎carrying between 450 and 500 migrants, ‎sunk as it sailed for Italy from Egypt’s Mediterranean port city of ‎Rosetta.

The death toll ‎from the accident reached 195 on Tuesday. ‎

Despite the reinforcement of the militarisation of the borders between Morocco and Spain a lot of people manage to sneak through. After information from mainly mainstream media 876 migrants passed the borders, 16 were declared missing and some boats got intercepted by the moroccan Marine.

Associations in northern Morocco claim the constant and intense raids and arrests that still take place in the cities and forests in the north. A new, quite worrying incident happened in Spain, the 30th of august 52 migrants who arrived at Malaga have been taken straight to the police station after their arrival without getting medical assistance by the red cross. This was denounced by entrefronteras.

In the future, the Federal Police will also be able to deploy undercover agents. The provision is part of the new “Act to Improve Information Exchange in the Fight Against International Terrorism”, which the Grand Coalition adopted on 24 June 2016 and the parliamentary groups of the opposition voted against.

The version amended by the Committee on Internal Affairs which was finally adopted states that the deployment of undercover agents has now become “indispensible and long overdue” [1] for the central policing duties the Federal Police has assumed for 20 years now. In the debate over the bill, the President of the Federal Police, Dieter Romann, also spoke out. In a statement submitted late[2] he cited the phenomenon of “illegal migration” as justification for the need for statutory undercover threat-prevention powers. He stated that the Federal Police was no longer in a position to sufficiently counter the tactics of “smuggler organisations” “using traditional, conventional methods”. “People smugglers” acted “highly conspiratorially, with division of labour, shielding themselves from police actions to a large degree”. Witnesses and victims, he claimed, were “intimidated with violence or coerced into giving false evidence”. “The most deaths”, he said, were in the area of organised crime, which “illegal people smuggling” is subsumed under. For this reason the preventive deployment of undercover agents by the Federal Police was a “tactical requirement”. This included, he went on, “discretionary investigations”. Such a possibility existed in almost all of the police laws of the Länder, or federal states, (with the exception of Schleswig-Holstein) and in the Federal Criminal Police Office Act and had proven successful.
