It shows how difficult a rescue operation is and how situations like this influence the thinking even of military people. I think it makes sense to watch it, even if you do not understand German.

As at Wednesday 8/10/2014, four(4) members of I.O.M visited the camp to discuss with the occupants, the conversations ensued: The voluntary return program, possibilities for status refugees and as well to obtain the correct statistics from the camp inhabitants. When prejudice by members of the camp for a proper explanations i.e, why should we write a list of names for the I.O.M and who(mean source of the eviction order)?

The first the crew of the Antarctica knew of the disaster was a radio request to help a search and rescue operation. There were bodies in the water 200 miles off the coast of Malta. Two other ships – the Verdi and the Japan – were already at the scene, picking people out of the sea. The Antarctica was swiftly diverted and took command until the arrival of coastguard and naval ships.

Ceuta (EFE).- Una balsa neumática ha sido interceptada hoy en aguas del Estrecho de Gibraltar cuando se dirigía presuntamente hacia las costas de Cádiz con siete jóvenes inmigrantes a bordo. Según han informado a Efe fuentes policiales españolas, la intervención se ha producido a primeras horas de la mañana de hoy cuando fue vista la embarcación por un pesquero.
