Die Politik wollte die Zahl der Abschiebungen deutlich steigern. Die Bilanz kurz vor Jahresende lässt daran zweifeln, dass das gelungen ist. Das Bundesinnenministerium spricht von Hindernissen, mahnt aber auch eine differenzierte Betrachtung an.

Die Zahl der Abschiebungen und Ausreisen aus Deutschland ist im Jahr 2017 trotz Bemühungen von Bund und Ländern nicht erhöht worden. Wie das Bundesinnenministerium am Donnerstag in Berlin mitteilte, gab es bis Ende November 22.190 Abschiebungen. Im Gesamtjahr 2016 waren es mehr als 25.000. Die Zahl der bewilligten sogenannten freiwilligen Ausreisen, bei denen Betroffene finanzielle Unterstützung erhalten, lag Ende November bei 27.903 – gegenüber rund 55.000 im Gesamtjahr 2016.

İzmir, a city where 120,000 registered refugees live, has a lot of meaning for refugees. For some, it is a stop on their way to Europe when passing over by boats, for others, it is a city they come to in order to find seasonal work on the fields.

Seasonal agricultural labor in Turkey is not an issue that started with Syrian refugees. For years, Kurdish workers, mostly coming from the east and southeast of Turkey, have been working in agricultural areas in the Aegean, Çukurova, at the Black Sea and in Central Anatolia. There have been dozens of academic studies, news and documentaries on this issue, and it is still being studied today. In every respect, seasonal agricultural labor is a great burden to workers and must be considered as injustice.

​​Although​ ​the​ ​group​ ​was​ ​mostly​ ​made​ ​up​ ​of​ ​men​ ​and​ ​women​ ​in​ ​their​ ​20s and​ ​30s,​ ​some​ ​had​ ​brought​ ​their​ ​children​ ​with​ ​them.​ ​​Their​ ​“guide”​ ​pointed​ ​to​ ​a​ ​path​ ​through​ ​the jungle.​ ​“Keep​ ​going​ ​this​ ​way.​ ​It’s​ ​not​ ​very​ ​far,”​ ​he​ ​told​ ​them.

bhraim Kone ha 15 anni, felpa bianca con il cappuccio, jeans gialli arrotolati sulla caviglia. Quando un poliziotto francese alla stazione ferroviaria di Mentone lo spinge giù dal treno che arriva da Ventimiglia, il ragazzo originario della Costa d’Avorio lo fissa dritto negli occhi e gli dice in un francese perfetto: “Ci avete colonizzato, ci avete costretto a parlare la vostra lingua e ora come fate a cacciarci a calci?”. Kone non ha paura dell’agente, che indossa dei guanti di gomma neri e lo ha preso per un braccio, lo strattona e gli dice di mettersi a sedere sulla panchina del primo binario in questa piccola stazione ferroviaria di frontiera circondata dal profilo imponente delle Alpi marittime.

Una decina di ragazzi come Ibhraim Kone sono stati costretti a scendere dal treno, c’è anche Amidou, un altro ivoriano di 17 anni. Sono quasi tutti minorenni. Hanno provato ad attraversare la frontiera tra l’Italia e la Francia in treno, ma alla prima stazione ferroviaria dopo il valico hanno dovuto lasciare il treno, individuati dalla polizia francese che ogni volta ispeziona vagone per vagone, chiedendo solo alle persone con la pelle nera di mostrare i documenti.

For the men, women and children forced to call Moria their home, the refugee camp is a daily battle for survival in conditions so desperate that even the Greek migration minister has warned they could be life-threatening.

Die Migrationspolitik unter Macron fällt härter aus unter seinen Vorgängern, berichtet Le Monde. Sogar Sarkozy, der sich noch als Innenminister 2005 mit der Kärcher-Äußerung – „Ab morgen werden wir die cité (gemeint war die Pariser Vorstadt La Corneuve, Anm. d. A) mit dem Kärcher reinigen“ – das Profil eines „Hardliners“ verschafft hatte, sei als Präsident in der Praxis nicht so weit gegangen wie Macron, der sich um ein prononciert humanistisches Image bemüht.

„Raus aus der Misere“

Er wolle bis zum Ende des Jahres „niemanden, keine Frau und keinen Mann, mehr auf der Straße oder in den Gehölzen “ sehen, die erste Schlacht werde darum gefochten, dass alle in Würde untergebracht werden: „Ich will überall Notunterkünfte“, verkündete Macron im Juli.
