„Morocco man fears torture if deported from Spain
Madrid – Campaigners on Thursday demanded that Spain halt the deportation to Morocco of a man who fears being tortured there after being sentenced over unrest in the disputed territory of Western Sahara.

31 migrants rescued in northern Moroccan coast
Moroccan navy patrol vessels on Friday rescued 31 migrants after their boat sank off Morocco s northern city of Tangiers, local authorities said. All the 31 migrants were safe and transferred to local hospitals in Tangiers, Morocco s news agency quoted local authorities as saying. Riprendono gli sbarchi dei migranti, 179 persone in arrivo a Lampedusa
Tratti in salvo dalla Capitaneria nonostante le brutte condizioni del mare
Questa mattina il Centro Nazionale di Soccorso della Guardia Costiera di Roma ha ricevuto due telefonate satellitari che segnalavano la presenza di due gommoni con migranti in difficoltà al largo delle coste libiche. La prima assistenza – riferisce un comunicato della Guardia Costeira – è stata fornita da un mercantile che navigava in zona, l’Ooc Cougar che, su disposizione del Centro Nazionale di Soccorso della Guardia Costiera, ha preso a bordo 80 migranti da un gommone e successivamente si è diretto sul secondo gommone salvando altri 99 migranti.
Nel contempo, nonostante le impervie condizioni del mare, sono partite da Lampedusa due motovedette della Guardia Costiera per andare in assistenza al mercantile. Ora i 179 migranti stanno facendo rotta verso il porto di Lampedusa dove arriveranno domani alle prime luci dell’alba.

Dispersi 20 migranti in mare

Da qualche giorno non si hanno notizie di una ventina di giovani, partiti in gommone da una spiaggia della zona di Zarzis, a nord di Tunisi, e diretti verso Lampedusa.
A lanciare l’allarme sono stati i familiari dei giovani (tre appartengono ad una stessa famiglia, probabilmente si tratta di fratelli), tutti originari di Zarzis, la località costiera da cui, nel 2011, nel momento di maggiore emergenza dell’emigrazione clandestina, partivano con cadenza quotidiana natanti diretti in Italia. On the 6th of February 2015 in Tanger, Morocco, as well as in different european countries, people were gathering to give a sign against the murderous border politics of the EU. Conmemoration events take place In London, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Madrid, Barcelona and Tanger to remember the 15 people that have been killed by the spanish border police (Guardia Civil) exactly one year ago on the fence. For this reason more than 80 people come together in Tanger to lament the deaths of their comrades, amongst them many migrants who survived the attack of the Guardia Civil. Weiterlesen »
