Libyan Coast Guard found Friday tens of drowned bodies of migrants, who are likely to be from Eritrea and Niger, off Al-Garaboulli shores, 75 km eastern Tripoli.
The Head of Coast Guard in Al-Garaboulli, Abdullatif Al-Munser, said the decomposed bodies that came ashore Al-Garaboulli suggest that the boat, which those migrants were on, drowned days ago.
Libya coastguard stops 600 migrants crossing to Europe

Tripoli (AFP) – The Libyan coastguard on Sunday stopped three boats carrying 600 migrants including pregnant women trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe, an official said.
The coastguard „intercepted three large dinghies off the coast of Sabratha“ around 70 kilometres (45 miles) west of Tripoli, Colonel Ayoub Qassem, a spokesman for the Tripoli government’s navy, said.
He said all the migrants were from Africa, adding „there were 80 women including some who were pregnant.“

Wien – Österreichs Hilfsorganisationen, die dem Bund in der Flüchtlingshilfe und -unterbringung zur Seite gesprungen sind, warten nicht nur auf ihnen zustehendes Geld von der Republik. Offen sind, wie das Innenministerium vorige Woche bestätigt hat, die Zahlungen für Jänner und Februar. Laut dem Chef des Roten Kreuzes, Gerry Foitik, bringt dieser Umstand manche der Organisationen „an den Rand der Zahlungsunfähigkeit“.
Für noch viel mehr Aufregung sorgt allerdings ein Schreiben des Innenministeriums vom 10. Februar mit dem Betreff: „Förderungen Transitflüchtlinge; Berücksichtigung des Spendenaufkommens“. Aus diesem Brief erschließt sich, dass der Bund den NGOs die Spenden, die sie für ihre Arbeit für die Flüchtlinge bekommen, von den ersetzten („geförderten“) Kosten abzieht. Das 21-seitige Schreiben erging an zwölf Organisationen (etwa Rotes Kreuz, Johanniter NÖ-Wien, Volkshilfe Wien, Train of Hope, Islamische Föderation, türkisch-islamischer Kulturverein Teesdorf).
Drei Schiffe mit Boat-people sind vor West-Libyen untergegangen. Drei weitere Schiffe mit 500 Boat-people hat die libysche Küstenwache aufgebracht und die Flüchtlinge nach Libyen zurückgebracht. Wenn man davon ausgeht, dass sich auf den Schiffen aus West-Libyen meist 120-150 Boat-people befinden, hat ein Massensterben stattgefunden. Die libysche Küstenwache berichtet von 30 Toten und 4 tot Geborgenen.

Around 30 illegal migrants have drowned when their EU-bound boats capsized off the western shores of Libya.
Libya’s Coast Guard, Al-Zawia office, said 3 boats loaded with some 500 illegal migrants were intercepted and rescued off Mellitah coast while 3 other boats sank, leaving around 30 migrants, including men and women, dead.
4 bodies were recovered while the others are still missing.
The 3 rescued boats were set on fire after taking the migrants to safety, the Coast Guard said.

Une délégation du haut comité des réfugiés auprès de l’ONU a rendu visite dans l’après-midi du 4 mars 2016 une visite à la délégation de Dhehiba pour évaluer les positions proposés pour abriter des camps de réfugiés dans la région. La délégation a visité aussi le passage frontalier de Dhehiba.
Un accord a été conclu pour choisir des endroits hors de la ville. Un des sites, sera choisi en cas d’affluence massive de réfugiés de la Libye en cas d’éclatement d’une guerre dans ce pays.

A interrogarsi cioè su cosa sia meglio fare per uscire dal labirinto senza uscita dentro al quale sono finiti. Un dibattito confuso e senza una vera rete; fatto sta che a Idomeni, in mezzo a una maggioranza silenziosa ed esausta, si confrontano due fazioni diverse: quella più radicale che ha organizzato lo sfondamento della barriere riuscito a metà di lunedì scorso e un’altra che vuole una protesta pacifica e secondo le „regole“. Nel tumulto generale nascono anche dei piccoli capopopolo. Banalmente sono quelli che riescono a guidare le manifestazioni che giorno dopo giorno i migranti fanno per chiedere di aprire le frontiere.
