Seenotrettung – CSU-Minister fordert 100 Millionen Euro für Flüchtlinge

Die EU tue nicht genug, um Flüchtlinge im Mittelmeer zu retten, findet Entwicklungsminister Gerd Müller. Er will mehr Geld für Rettungsprogramme und die Herkunftsländer.

Bundesentwicklungsminister Gerd Müller (CSU) fordert ein neues Rettungsprogramm für Bootsflüchtlinge im Mittelmeer. „Wir dürfen die Scheinwerfer der Rettungsboote nicht ausstellen, damit wir die Ertrinkenden nicht sehen“, sagte er der Neuen Osnabrücker Zeitung. Eine „wirkungsvolle Anschlussregelung“ für das ausgelaufene italienische Programm Mare Nostrum sei notwendig, erklärte Müller. Damit übt er Kritik an dem von der EU-Grenzschutzagentur Frontex vor einem Monat gestarteten Nachfolgemission Triton.

Hashish stash sinks after high sea drama for EU patrol

More than 13 tonnes of hashish sunk to the bottom of the Mediterranean after smugglers carrying the potent stash were intercepted by boats working for Triton, the EU’s coastal patrol operation said Friday.

Triton, charged with looking out for people-traffickers and their human cargoes, spotted the suspicious 25-metre fishing boat on Thursday.

Officers from the Spanish Civil Guard and Italy’s Financial Police tailed it and boarded it about 100 nautical miles (185km) to the south of Sardinia, arresting nine Egyptians.

IOM’s team providing assistance to migrants arriving in Europe by sea from North Africa and the Middle East recorded another 18 migrants reported missing, and presumed dead this week. The reports came from fellow passengers rescued by commercial and military vessels patrolling increasingly wintery and dangerous Mediterranean routes.Over 5,100 migrants have arrived in Italy by sea in the last 10 days, rescued by the ships plying waters in the Channel of Sicily in the framework of the Triton and Mare Nostrum operations, which will continue until the end of the year, when the Italian Government said it will end its Mare Nostrum mission (which this month officially changed its name into “Surveillance and Sea Security Mechanism”).

Bootsflüchtlinge aus Zentralafrika haben für 400 Dollar pro Person die sehr riskante Überfahrt auf Schlauchbooten von Libyen nach Lampedusa gewagt. Nun wurden 3 Personen von ihnen, die das „Kommando“ auf den 3 Booten hatten, unter schwersten Beschuldigungen – der Bildung einer Schlepperbande – kriminalisiert. Ihre Namen mit Geburtsdatum etc. wurden in italienischen Zeitungen veröffentlicht.

On 6 of February 2014, more migrants trying in collective action to overcome the border of the enclave of Ceuta (one of two direct borders of the Union Europeenne on African soil)across the sea. The Spanish Guardia Civil, fired on Migrantsin water with rubber bullets and tear gas. Moroccan police, supported by local racists, also participated in the murderoushunt of migrants. At least 15 people were murdered that day, and 50 of them were missing. Dozens more were injured andillegally pushed back to Morocco.

Continuano gli arrivi via mare verso l’Italia: 18 vittime negli ultimi 10 giorni

Sono circa 5.100 i profughi soccorsi negli ultimi 10 giorni dalle navi che pattugliano le acque del Canale di Sicila nel quadro dell’operazione Triton e della missione Mare Nostrum. Arrivano prevalentemente dall’Africa Sub-Sahariana

ROMA – Non conoscono soste i viaggi della speranza dalla coste dell’Africa verso la Sicilia. Un’odissea che in moltissimi casi equivale a morte e disperazione. Sono circa 5.100 i profughi soccorsi negli ultimi 10 giorni dalle navi che pattugliano le acque del Canale di Sicilia nel quadro dell’operazione Triton e della missione Mare Nostrum, ancora attiva fino alla fine dell’anno con il nome “Dispositivo di Sorveglianza e di Sicurezza Marittima”. E ancora una volta, purtroppo, si registrano delle vittime: secondo le informazioni raccolte dai team Oim presenti sui luoghi di sbarco, sarebbero 18 i migranti che avrebbero trovato la morte in mare in questo periodo.

La Guardia Civil y Marruecos evitan la entrada de 500 inmigrantes en Melilla

Han intentado acceder divididos en varios grupos por distintas zonas de la valla durante la pasada madrugada

Madrugada de intensa actividad en las inmediaciones de la valla de Melilla, donde el dispositivo antiintrusión de la Guardia Civil en colaboración con efectivos de los servicios de segudidad de Marruecos han impedido la entrada de medio millar de inmigrantes, que intentaron acceder divididos en varios grupos por distintas zonas.

Según la Delegación del Gobierno los subsaharianos no han llegado a alcanzar el perímetro fronterizo gracias al fuerte despliegue de seguridad de la Guardia Civil, que ha resultado «crucial en una madrugada de intensa presión migratoria».

Buscan en el Mar de Alborán una patera con 41 inmigrantes, 4 de ellos menores

La embarcación salió desde un punto «indeterminado de la costa marroquí» hacia España

Miembros de Salvamento Marítimo trabajan en la búsqueda de una patera en aguas del Mar de Alborán tras recibir una llamada alertando de la presencia esta embarcación en la que viajan 41 ocupantes, 4 de éstos menores.

Según ha indicado un portavoz del organismo a Efe, a las 13:00 horas han recibido la llamada de una mujer que ha dicho ser hermana de una de las ocupantes de la patera, alertando de su salida desde un punto «indeterminado de la costa marroquí» hacia España.

Salvamento Marítimo ha movilizado el avión Sasemar 101 y la embarcación Guardamar Calíope, que trabajan en la búsqueda en el Mar de Alborán.

Un pro­getto messo a punto nei mesi scorso in accordo con l’Unione afri­cana e che verrà pre­sen­tato domani al ter­mine della IV Con­fe­renza mini­ste­riale euro-africana su migra­zioni e svi­luppo in corso a Roma.
