Fence, Evros region (Kastanies)

The government started building a double fence (similar to the one in Melilla, Spain) in order to prevent migrants and asylum seekers to cross the broder Turkey/Greece in the Evros region. Due to this fence, migrants and asylum seekers are now obliged to cross the Evros river.
The EU refused funding the project.
